How the bands are derived
Each band reflects the rough lower/upper resale range we've observed across StockX, GOAT and eBay (deadstock pairs, US size 10) over the last 18 months. Limited Retros and rare Protros sit at the higher end; Annual Retros and General Releases at the lower end. Bands are educational only — they don't replace a live marketplace lookup.
How condition affects value
- Deadstock — never worn, all original packaging — pays full band.
- Worn — clearly used but no major damage — typically 50–60% of deadstock.
- Heavily worn — visible creasing, sole separation, yellowing — typically 25–35% of deadstock.
How size affects value
Sizes US 10–10.5 sit at the broadest demand (the average American adult male), so sell at par. Sizes ≤ 8 and ≥ 14 typically sell 10–20% below par because the buying pool is thinner. Iconic colorways and Limited Retros buck this — verify on StockX before pricing.
